How I Work
Strategy doesn't stall because of a lack of resources. It stalls because of the gap between what leaders decide and what actually gets executed.
I work with corporate leaders and teams who have strong strategies but are hitting friction they can't quite name - inconsistent decisions, team misalignment, change that doesn't stick. My role is to find where the gap is, why it exists, and how to close it - using behavioural science, structured facilitation, and over 30 years of operational experience.
Start Here - Execution Gap Diagnostic Conversation
Complimentary · 60 minutes · Online or in person
Most engagements begin here. This is a structured diagnostic conversation, not a sales call - designed to help you get clarity on where your execution is breaking down and why. We'll move past surface-level symptoms to look at the underlying behavioural and structural dynamics affecting your team's performance. By the end, you'll have a clear picture of where the friction is coming from and what's worth addressing first. There's no obligation to proceed further. If I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you. Bridge the Gap Between Brilliant Strategy and Flawless Execution.
What the conversation can uncover
For some organisations, execution friction isn't about change resistance or capability gaps. It's about something more structural: two professional groups evaluating identical information and arriving at systematically different conclusions – every time. This is System Noise. And unlike a skills gap or a communication breakdown, it doesn't respond to more meetings, clearer policies, or additional headcount. It requires a different kind of diagnosis. Where the Execution Gap Conversation surfaces this pattern, I can take the work further. The Parallel Mirror Test is a structured diagnostic protocol that brings both groups into a controlled exercise – evaluating the same anonymised case vignettes independently – and maps the variance between their judgements. The output is a forensic dispersion profile and, where the evidence warrants it, a board-ready pilot brief that quantifies the cost of that variance against your operating budget. It is not a workshop. It is not a facilitated alignment session. It is a measurement exercise – and it produces a number a CFO can act on. → Ask about the Parallel Mirror Test at the contact link at the foot of this page.
Team Change Readiness
Is your team ready to carry this change through?
Price on Application · 90 minutes · In person with your team
Most change initiatives are planned from the top and felt at the team level. That gap — between what leaders decide and what teams actually do — is rarely about strategy. It is almost always about readiness. Not readiness in the abstract, but the specific habits, trust levels, and shared understanding that determine whether a team pulls together or quietly pulls apart when things get hard. The Team Change Readiness Session is a structured, facilitated conversation that surfaces exactly that.In a single 90-minute session, your leadership team works through six dimensions of change readiness - together, out loud, and honestly. Each dimension is scored as a group, which means the conversation that happens around the score is often more valuable than the score itself.Book your team change readiness session at the link to the right.

What the Team Change Readiness Session does
What it produces By the end of the session, your team will have: A clear readiness profile across all six dimensions An honest picture of where the greatest friction is likely to emerge A short list of agreed priority actions – owned by the team, not handed down from above A shared language for talking about the change that didn't exist before you walked in Who it is for This session is designed for leadership teams and senior management groups who are either preparing for a significant change or already in the middle of one. It works equally well as pre-change diagnostic work or as a recalibration when a change initiative has stalled. It is not a survey. It is not a workshop with slides. It is a structured conversation with a skilled facilitator – and the output is clarity, not a report. How it works The session is typically held on-site with the team in a single room. No preparation is required from participants beyond a willingness to be honest. The facilitator guides the team through each dimension, holds the space for genuine discussion, and ensures the conversation produces something actionable rather than just interesting. A summary of findings and priority actions is provided following the session.
How I engage
Depending on what your diagnostic reveals, I work with organisations in four primary ways:
Coaching
I work one-on-one with leaders and managers who are navigating significant change - supporting them to think clearly, communicate confidently, and make decisions that hold up under pressure. My coaching draws on Humble Inquiry, behavioural science, and 30-plus years of working inside complex organisations. Sessions are structured around your real challenges, not a generic programme.
Training
I develop and deliver targeted training programmes for teams navigating change. The focus is on equipping people with practical frameworks they'll actually use — not a binder that sits on a shelf. Topics include change readiness, communication during transition, and the team dynamics that determine whether a change initiative lands or quietly falls apart.
Facilitation
Some of the most important work in any change process happens in the room — or doesn't. I design and facilitate workshops, team sessions, and critical conversations where the goal is genuine alignment, not surface agreement. I use structured tools including the Bolman & Deal 4-Frame Model to ensure different perspectives are surfaced and worked through, not talked past.
Speaking
I speak at organisational events, leadership days, and professional development sessions on change leadership, the Execution Gap, and the behavioural science of why well-designed strategies so often underdeliver. Talks are grounded in real experience and are built around your audience's context, not a standard keynote.

The Diagnostic Conversation is the simplest way to find out whether there's something worth exploring. It costs you an hour and gives you clarity. If it goes further, we'll design something that fits your situation.
